Cornelius’ Recommendations

It all begins with an idea.

Soul care is discovering healthy pathways to experience life. For an existence that’s meaningful and worth living, proper care is required. And, I truly believe that discipline is the way we show our soul true love. Why? Because we protect and provide for whatever is important to us. Unfortunately, we neglect self at the expense of pleasing others. That leaves us empty and struggling. Well, no more! We’re outlasting, and I’m honored to be on this journey with you!

Here are some of my book recommendations. I’ve read hundreds of book over the years. My goal is to continue to add to this list. Please realize that this list is NOT exhaustive and it includes books that I personally love. I’ll list my top 5, and I’ll add more of them as we continue this journey together. Please note the books are in an order of importance.

  1. Ragamuffin Gospel by Brennan Manning

  2. Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins

  3. Braving the Wilderness by Brene Brown

  4. A First-Rate Madness: Uncovering the Links Between Leadership and Mental Illness by Nassir Ghaemi

  5. Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz
